Sounds like something that should be given to the appropriate Indian tribe, turned over to a local official or a museum. I believe it is illegal to be in possession of such objects.
TIP&MITTEN may be correct, although people collect arrow heads all the time…i don’t know what the rules are on pottery and carvings and such…check with the curator of the closest museum or a professor of archeology at the closest university to you.
