I live fairly close to the Hudson River and i decided to take a small hike up a part of Illinois Mountain and their is this huge clearing there with easy accessibility to the river front. Well i was looking around and i found this small piece of shale that seems to have once been sharpened and there is no shale near by could i have found an artifact? How can i be sure?
