What native American peoples lived in the the south western U.S.?

Specfically the North eastern portion of Nevada. Every summer I go to Ely, Nevada and search for Native American artifacts. I work as an intern for the USDA and help protect Native American sites. I know the Shoshone were dominant, but were there others?
You’re a dork! But I love you!
As far as I know, those native American peoples live in town and work with the white peoples. So I call them artifacts because they are pieces of their history.
