i need more information about this contemporary native american artifact.

this is what i know about it.
– Kiowa (Southern Plains) women’s hand bag
– used as decoration today as part of southern womens traditional dance
– Star design is comtemporary using rainbow colors
– bone and trade bead fringes
– brain tanned deer hide
if anyone knows anything else about the use of these purses or anything else please help 🙂
