my mother found a figurine of some sort i took it to the local library the lady their could believe what i had its from mexico she thought its about 5 inches

Whats the question?
If you want to know its worth, take it to an appraiser. If you want to know its value, take it to a museum. It depends on where your mother found it, but if it’s an artifact a museum may be interested on knowing where the item was found.
You might try either a local museum or a local university anthropology department.
