Indian Artifacts
Is there anyone that has knowlege of American Indian artifacts?
How can I find out what this Indian pipe (Artifact, not the flower) is worth?
A long time ago, my dad had a friend whose parents were archeologists. They gave him a large clump of dirt, with a small black carved foot sticking out. My dad then took a long while, chipping at it with a dental pick, and cleaning it with a toothbrush. Once he was finished, it had turned out to be an Indian pipe! The pipe is in the shape of a naked woman, with one leg extremely longer than the other, which is also the mouth piece. Her back has a hole in it (to insert what ever is to be smoked) She is fairly anatomically correct.. Down there.. as well as her chest. One hand is covering half of her chest while the other rests on her elongated leg.
Sadly, while cleaning it, a small portion of her foot/mouth piece was broken off.
I will have pictures up eventually, I still need some batteries ๐
He’s had this thing for many years, and today asked me to see if it was worth anything or if I could find anything about it. So far my searches have turned up completely empty.
It was found in Arizona, and we are fairly sure it is Indian.
If anyone could tell me anything about it, or even point me in the direction of something that can help; that would be great!

Kids Archaeololgy Camp?
I am running a kids archaeology camp for the first time and I need some artifacts. I live in a town that has a lot of Native American History and a lot of Colonial History. I’m not necessarily looking for 100% accurate things but something that just looks like it could have belonged..
does anyone have any ideas what i could use for artifacts? or does anyone know where I can buy artifact replicas?
pleaseeee let me know ๐ thanks

How do I become a “identifyer” of cultures of the Indian artifacts?
Does anyone know where I could find out more information on some possible indian artifacts I found?
I found three rocks on the ground by a creek in Southern Missouri. These three rocks were not extremly close to each other, but all of them Were shaped into perfect triangles and completely smoothed down. They were on the ground and the first one pointed in a certain direction that I was walking when I found the next one pointing in another direction. So I walked the direction of that one and found a third. I also followed the third direction but did not find anymore. I collected and kept all three triangular rocks, but wondered if I should have left them, wondering if they were navigational rocks used to point the way to something else.
The land I was walking on is heavily wooded and many arrowheads have also been found near the same area.
I wonder if there is somewhere I could find out more information on rocks like this and what they might have been used for.
I need help identifying some stone tools?
I have four arrow heads and what I think is a small hand axe or carving tool. I had a pamphlet to help identify the cultures these artifacts came from but I’ve misplaced it. Does anyone know a good website or online database of archaeological items that I can use to identify them? More specifically one dealing in North America as these are Native American artifacts. I purchased them at a show held by the Central States Archaeological Society from a Kentucky seller (the CSAS includes Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana).
These ARE arrowheads (w/ one exception), the seller was just getting rid of them because they weren’t display quality. They are from somewhere around Kentucky. I had one semi-identified as Adena, but I’m not 100% sure.
